NEW LEVEL DESIGNER IN THE HOUSE!
We’ve got a new Level Designer in the house – welcome Olivier! One of our newest additions here at Ratloop Canada, Olivier’s first task at hand has been freshening up all the quests on NO LOVE LOST…BUT that’s not all! You may have already noticed brand-new quests and location changes if you were zooming around Drosera last playtest! We can’t wait to see Olivier continue to douse NO LOVE LOST with his creative touch and make us all work a little harder and smarter for that sweet, sweet nectar!

Say hello to Ratloop Canada’s newest artists! The studio has been blessed with so much insane talent the past couple months; we can’t wait to start introducing them – let’s get down to it!
Say hello to Keiana, our new 2D/UI/UX Artist, who will be giving NO LOVE LOST’s UI a huge overhaul! Keep your eyes peeled in upcoming playtests to see what she’s been up to! Next up, we’ve got Jordan, who’ll be taking care of VFX and breathing new life into the world of Drosera! Lastly, we’ve got Connor – our new concept artist, who’s been busy helping to redesign tons of in-game assets (like the respawn towers) alongside brand-new surprises you’ve yet to see!
Expect many more changes in the upcoming playtests! We’re so excited for our new team members to take on the world of NO LOVE LOST!!

Surprise!! Our Marketing team is getting bigger - let us introduce some of our newest faces at Ratloop Canada!
First up, give a warm welcome to Danny, our new community manager and Mel’s partner in crime! Danny dived into the deep end when he joined us at PAX EAST this year and blew the team away with his endless energy and ability to pose for hilarious IG stories no matter how many days into PAX we were.
Next up, we’ve got Baran, our new Marketing Coordinator! Taking the helm of all things back-end and analytical within the marketing scope, Baran has quickly become an integral part of the team as he helps us find new ways to bring NO LOVE LOST to the furthest corners of the galaxy!
Exciting things are happening at Ratloop Canada and we can’t wait to show you more of the new faces we’ve welcomed into the team – stay tuned!

PAX EAST ’23 RECAP!
We’ve returned from PAX EAST and what a glorious time it was! Ratloop was in Boston this past week to bring NO LOVE LOST to it’s first event! We can’t begin to express how much fun it was to see all of you shuttle down to Drosera for the first time — LIVE!
But, it wasn’t all work! We also ate a bunch of good food, hung out with some amazing people and even got to see some sights! Thank you so much to everyone who came by to say hi and gave us their feedback! We can’t wait to bring NO LOVE LOST to more events!

Observatory reworked.
New shuttle model.
Shotgun and Rifle reworks with updated skin variations.
Compass added with quest/objective markers and teammate icons.
Grenades no longer have target lock, replaced with throw line/bow and area of impact marker.
Player Shields implemented. Shields recharge automatically after not taking damage for 7 seconds. Associated SFX added.
Not-Karl-Bot shield implemented.
Respawn Shrine modified to have two stories (after death, players respawn on the upper level and have their own chests).
Key bind/re-bind settings integrated.
Extraction “reminders” @ 60 & 10 seconds remaining.
Loadout selection added to the Locker menu.

WELCOME GUILLAUME & JASMIN -
RATLOOP CANADA’S NEW ARTISTS!
2022 was a crazy and chaotic one for our studio – in a good way! One of the many new things to happen at Ratloop is the welcoming of our new artists. Firstly, everyone say hii to Guillaume - our super talented 3D artist who’s brought a lot of creativity to some of NO LOVE LOST’s very first characters and skins! (He also supplies us with lots of baked goods and cute cat content, but nobody’s complaining 👀). Next up, we’ve got Jasmin – the newest face on our team! Jasmin is an insanely creative character artist who has a bunch of other hidden skills that he’s slowly been revealing to us – for instance, did you know he also designed NO LOVE LOST’s logo?
We can’t wait to show more of what these two have been working on very soon! For now, help us in giving them a warm welcome!!

A Big announcement!
Hey everyone,
We’ve got some BIG studio news to share with you! It’s been an extremely busy time at Ratloop and a year full of change as we welcomed new faces and planned our next adventure. Today, we’d like to introduce our upcoming game to you all! This pre-alpha build allows you all an early look at what we’ve been working on so that you can be a part of the development process and help us shape this game together! Our aim in taking these early steps is transparency.

NO LOVE LOST is a free-to-play PvPvE adventure. You and a group of friends set out as Nectar Hunters traveling down to the carnivorous planet known as Drosera. Divided into two rival raiding crews, teams take part in competitive questing and must race to collect as much of the lucrative resource known as Nectar as possible before extraction time – all while trying to survive the dangers of the planet.
